Our aim is that all children develop to the best of their ability and are given equal opportunity to learn and play at their own pace.
Food
All of our meals are prepared on site by our qualified and experienced chef. We cater for all cultural and dietary needs.
Outdoor Learning
We are proud of our two extensive large outdoor areas. We love playing outside daily and in all weathers, including forest school play.
Our Sessions
- Our opening times are 7.30am to 6.00pm.
- Full and half day care
- 52 weeks of the year (excluding bank holidays)
- Holiday club for 3-8 year olds
- Wrap-around care including transport to/from local schools
- Emergency short notice care
- At least two FREE settling-in sessions

Since 2024, we have obtained the Quality for All accreditation mark from Early Years Wales. This is a sector-recognised award for our standards and commitment. As part of the scheme we must reach the re-accreditation standards annually.

Fees
Our current fees for 2026 are shown on the FAQs page. Once we know what sessions you require, we can calculate an estimate of your monthly nursery fee. Discounts and savings are available too and we can explain these in more detail to you in person.
The Team
A nursery is only as good as the team of nursery educators. Our team consists of 27 members. Two experienced and qualified managers, Amy and Sarah, who have been with Plantos for more than 21 years are in charge of the day-to-day running of the nursery and the learning and development of each child.
Team leaders are based in the five rooms together with their group of practitioners. Our cook prepares all our meals freshly on-site. Our driver provides the school wrap-around, and the cleaner ensures the nursery is clean and hygienic.
All of our team are DBS checked. All of the team have certification in paediatric first aid, food hygiene and of course safeguarding. Further, the team are either qualified or working towards their childcare, play and learning qualifications. We are proud of them all for their dedication and passion.

Gemma Evans
POSITION: Deputy Manager

FUN FACT: I won the cutest baby competition on my first ever holiday.
